Lila Van Pelt was a loving, joyful, watercolorist.   She passed away in July of 2009 at the age of 93, but her daughter has created this gallery to exhibit her artwork.   Lila came from an artistic family and was very talented in drawing and painting.   During the time she was raising her family, her art was put on hold, but once her children were in high school and older, she took up watercolor painting.   Lila was a very giving person, so she saw her art as a gift-giving talent.   She began by painting beautiful flowers and pictures on the envelopes of cards she...more
