Julie, a resident of Berkeley, CA , is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer.   While serving with Peace Corps Julie was placed in the state offices of the developing Brazilian School Lunch Program (Merenda Escolar)and this is where she got her start in the art world.   The Brazilians needed help developing posters and educational materials for the school lunch program Julie, was given a drafting table, paints, pens, ink and paper as well as access to the research kitchen.   She ended up primarily producing brightly designed posters and slide shows to explain and advertise the...more
