My inspirations come from my home environment in Texas.   Things that I have taken for granted all my life are now inspirations for art.   I am drawn to paint scenes depicting the remains of a past I grew up with.   Mesquites, cactus, old barns and shacks, windmills, wooden fence posts, wildflowers and the like are favorite subjects.   I enjoy using color to revive the fading beauty that was once vibrant.   I strive for multiple dimensions, movement, depth and unusual perspective.   I am a Texas artist and have painted for most of my 71 years, being...more
