I was born in Copenhagen and came to Canada at the age of 6.   I grew up in the Vancouver lower mainland and have always enjoyed the beauty of this country.   As a child I explored with friends and family and continue to do so today.   This exploration is the source of many of my paintings.   My inspiration comes from drawing and painting outdoors.   My “plein air” sketches bring ideas to what I call my “Intuitive Landscapes” which may start with a few simple strokes of colour and is finished with the memory from a location traveled to.   In the...more
