Born in Mobile, Alabama, Debbie spent most of her life living along or near the Gulf Coast, including 12 years in New Orleans, Louisiana. She lived in the suburbs or Portland, Oregon for 20 years, and in 2017 returned back to the Gulf Coast. She now resides in Pensacola, Florida with her husband Storm Smith.
