BACKGROUND: I grew up in rural North Carolina, attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel and earned a law degree at Emory University.   After living in Atlanta for ten years, I moved to Augusta, Georgia in 1978 to accept a job in a general counsel role and retired from that in 2001 and moved to practice law in the private sector, from which I retired in 2019.For over thirty years I've enjoyed photography, first with film and a home darkroom and then digital.   In addition to learning by experience, I have been fortunate to have received instruction from George DeWolfe, Marc Muench, John Shaw, Jim...more
