I am a new painter but have been a creative person my whole life.   I started drawing a few years ago seriously.   I have always doodled.   It's been a big help with learning how to 'see' my subjects and draw more realistic pieces.   Most of my work has been with acrylics.   I like to mix my colors and I only use a 4-5 color palate and mix from there.   I obviously don't trace or understand the point of it.   It's like cheating on your homework...I wouldn't learn anything.   I took up painting to help with my...more
