Robert has been an artist since elementary school.   He was awarded the Bank of America award in art as a graduating high school senior.   His first job after high school was as the courtroom artist for the local paper, the Arcata Union.   Robert's great grandfather on his mother's side was the known American Western Artist, Irving R Bacon, and many of the techniques and brush strokes in Robert's work shows that relationship.   After spending a few decades as a graphic artist for the gaming industry, Robert decided to retire to the midwest and go back to making real art instead of...more
