I was born and raised in the birthplace of Uncle Sam: Arlington Massachusetts, and now I live in the birthplace of Johnny Applseed: Leominster Massachusetts. I am the son of a Marine, so it is a safe bet to say I am a patriotic American.
I had always had a passing interest in photography and enjoyed taking pictures when on vacation. Before getting married and moving to Leominster, I used to go to Florida to visit Walt Disney World and Universal Studio’s Islands of Adventure and take lots of pictures while down there. It wasn’t until I started taking weekend trips or week long trips with my wife and her parents to places like Maine (York, Wells, Ogunquit), Rhode Island (Newport), and Western Massachusetts (Stockbridge). During that time I became more focused on the quality of the photo. I took more time to get images centered or balanced. I also try to make sure I don’t have any one inadvertently stepping into the scene when I am taking the picture.
Simply put, I am a self-taught photographer and I strive to make each photo better than the last one. If you find any of these images to your liking, I hope you would be willing to purchase it from me. I could consider it an honor to have my work in your home.
