WHAT PART OF PET DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND??
I've always been an 'adopter' when it comes to pets. The local shelter frequently has purebred dogs. mixed breeds. all sizes and colors. I don't understand why anyone would spend bunches of dollars on a pet when there are so many available in your shelters, the APL and sanctuaries.
Apparently, I have to explain what I feel is a PET. There should be 'interaction' with your pet and that doesn't mean dropping food into an aquarium. That is NOT interaction. On the other hand, throwing a ball, petting and cuddling, hands on care (brushing, bathing, and 'playing'), and going for walks - all that would be considered 'interaction'. I don't want to see pictures of fish in the OCEAN! I GET really tired of removing all those types of photos and art. All I'm asking is that you pay attention to the rules - PLEASE.
It would also be helpful if you could share where you got the 'pet' from the APL, a local shelter or even found on the street.
Seeing as I just love my assorted doggies (husband's not a cat person) I thought it might be nice to see what you love too.
Photography, drawings, paintings - all will be accepted, and it doesn't have to be YOUR pet. it could be commission work.
I have one 'pet' not acceptable and that would be insects.
