L/F This is my favorite butterfly! Beautiful capture! It is my favorite because when I was a little girl I had the pleasure and wonder of putting the caterpillar into a jar which for weeks I feed the caterpillar. Then I saw it spin the cocoon and waited for the butterfly to emerge. One day I was so fortunate to watch the Zebra Swallowtail emerge and the miracle unfold right before my eyes. It took some time for the wings to unfurl, and the wings to expand then the sun to warm the newly emerged creation until it flew away from me!
