Bonnie Marie: "You Lead me beside still waters." Even as the artist I feel the young girls praise to God for HIS goodness; and not just her praise but that of the deer for its care and provision. My favorite time of year is just when the aspens are turning and fall is coming on. At first, I was going to call this "the water bearer," and then "the gatherer," but once it was almost done the look to me was a praise to God for His ultimate goodness and care.
The young girl in the painting resembles my granddaughter-in-law!

My ancestry is Scandinavian and I am only 2nd generation American. So my people did not commit atrocities to others in this country.
