Easter week marks the unofficial end of the "snow bird" season in south Florida which means less crowds at the beach. This image was taken in mid-May and the chairs lining the small beach at the Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda, Florida, were sitting empty. Perhaps it was because of the ominous clouds gathering on the horizon over the Peace River. It was still a pleasant view.

I have added text to this image - You Can Breathe Now - to remind the viewer to stop and just breathe and relax occasionally.

Fisherman's Village is a destination shopping and vacation condo complex on Florida's southwest coast. The village sits on the Peace River and features a marina with boats offering cruises along the river and Charlotte Harbor. Sunsets are colorful and beautiful across the wide expance of water.

I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
