These two gals were having a ball sitting in the middle of the Kern River, drinking beer and watching as the inner tubers came floating by and got ambushed by the people using those huge water pistols.
Every once in a while one of them would yell: "Hey Poppie!" And who ever Poppei is, he would run out to them with a fresh beer.
It is 109 degrees out on the 4th of July in Kernville, California. But the water is running off the snow pack in the upper Sierras and is cold as hell! I don't how they could stand it for as long as they did.
