Description
My hand drawn rendering of Wole Soyinka a Nigerian playwright and political activist. He taught at Cambridge University, Yale and Emory. He was awarded in 1986 the Nobel prize in literature. He is an outspoken opponent of oppression and tyranny worldwide and a critic of the political situation in Nigeria. Soyinka has lived in exile on several occasion during his life. He has being held prisoner and sentenced to death (which was lifted).
