Window, Shutters and Fall Colors,
One of the things I love to do in Northern California is to go wine tasting with my wife and friends. Why not, I only live 20 minutes from the Napa Valley and 1/2 hour from Sonoma Valley. On top of that there are local wineries near my house and further on up in the foothills of the Sierras.
Not only do I like to go wine tasting, I also like photographing these beautiful rural places. There is something very peaceful walking around a vineyard or a winery.
This image was captured at the Viansa Sonoma Winery during the fall. I noticed this window with the green shutters surrounded by the red and green vines with hints of yellow and orange and it spoke to me of a mystical old country building that I just had to capture.
