Wildlife in Central Park, New York. Mallard duck photograph in bold colors sitting on a rock posing for his portrait. Photo taken at "The Pond"; one of the many bodies of water in the park. The vivid green and purple colors of this birds feathers stand out against the mossy green of the water behind him. Molted white feathers lay on the rock next to beautiful green leaves. His webbed feet are bright orange in contrast with the dark rock he sits on. You can also see the reflection of the leaves and branches in the pond. Gorgeous day to bask in the sun!
