This painting was inspired by The Women's March the day after the Inauguration of the 45th president. My husband and I marched in a sister march where they predicted only 300 to attend... and 3,000 poured in. Millions of people throughout the world came, marched, spoke, cried and joined hands in peace... but left knowing that this divisive, dark man is holding the highest office in the land and we must continue to do more because our future is at stake. As women, we have been put down upon, made to feel less-than and inferior... stripped away until... What Remains? Our beauty and strength.
