Description
The manufactures plate on the Westinghouse Electric Motor that powered the belt drive system that drove the machine tools of the Glover Machine Works. This is part of the Glover Machine Works collection at the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History in Kennesaw, Georgia. The Glover Machine Works was located in Marietta, Georgia and built over 200 steam locomotives between 1902 and 1930. But they continued to repair and rebuild locomotives into the 1950's.
