Description

We stayed in Truckee, California one night on our way southward from the Mount Shasta region. Since we arrived after dark we did not know what the place was like until morning.

I took this photo along the street. I love an old coffee shop with vintage neon signage. I love eating at good old fashioned ones along the road. I love the vintage atmosphere with their counter seating and unanchored tables and chairs. Throw on a country style red and white plaid table top cover and I am in heaven, Of course, the coffee and breakfast have to be stellar.

One person reviewed the Wagon Train restaurant this way "Loved sitting at the counter - talking with other patrons and the staff. They kept my coffee cup full, fed me wonderful food, while doing the same for everyone else!"

Yeah, that's a good cafe. Plates and silverware clanging, meat sizzling, and the cook calling out when the meal is ready!

I've aged the photo with various decorative tinting and texture. Enjoy.
