Too much editing and not much picture taking, which is what inspires me, so off we went for a few days camping and rolling through nearby countrysides just beginning to awaken from their winter slumber. I love the Pennsylvania hex barns and wondered what the Virginia equivalent might offer. This beautiful red quilt barn in Rocky Mount, Virginia seemed to be framed by the bright blue morning sky and the early spring wildflowers just beginning to show some color. This truly was what I was seeking to brighten my weekend venture. Wonderful framed, but even more so in acrylic or metal which enhances colors.
