Here's a vintage oil spout, used not that long ago before we had twist tops and easy pour containers. Way back in the day, okay, not all that long ago, we had to use these to punch open the oil cans. There were a real mess to work with. Even though they worked well, once you were done pouring your motor oil, these spouts had the remnants of oil left on them. That means that you had to clean this up with solvent, or soap and water, or somehow store it so that it didn't get dirt in it. I know, way too much information, right? -YoPedro
