Snow has fallen through the night, take a walk along the base of the South Terrace wisteria pergola covered in a blanket of snow. The Pergola dates back to the construction of the the Biltmore house. It's limestone columns date back to 1891, Olmsted wanted English ivy to be planted at it's base. In 1895, they added Wisteria.
