shot this image in the early afternoon on the Brunner Family Forest in West Dundee, Illinois. The farm is now owned by the Kane County Forest Preserve District covering over 700 acres of land restored to prairie. About 40 acres are leased to an organic farmer who will offer farm products from meats to milk and will also run tours of the farm to see what organic sustainable farming looks like.

The raw file was processed with Photomatix Pro 5.0.4 using a personal preset. Further processing with Topaz Lab's Detail 3 filter using a personal preset producing this HDR image.
