As I sat painting and enjoying the beauty of the Ohio landscape, the tree to the left stood out among the others. It reminded me of the iconic tree of life. Perfectly shaped and stunningly beautiful. Tucked away in an obscure landscape as not to be noticed. A tree represents the connection of the underground to the heavens and is used as a spiritual metaphor. What comes to mind is a phrase " As a man thinketh in his heart so is he". In essence our internal thoughts create our external world.
