Norman, I really like the infrared technique. Well composed but yet the leaves remain in perfect focus, which is really hard to do with an infrared image, Nice work!

Thank you, Art. This is a spring time Infrared and the new fresh leaves are just beginning to sprout. What you are seeing are clumps of young leaves rather single leaves. Fresh leaves have more active chlorophyll and thus give a clean white with little special processing other than red, blue channel swaps.
