Description
Always look behind you when photographing. I was shooting at Kolob Reservoir, just outside Zion National Park and as I was leaving I discovered this amazing view down an old forest path. The entrance was gated and locked so all I could do was shoot through the gate. Notice the sun burst through the trees. Reminded me of the path that Little Red Riding might have walked down to visit her grandmother.

Gorgeous! I want to walk that path, curving through the woods! I want to hear the crunch of those leaves as I walk and admire those fabulous trees.

George, Excellent landscape image! The pastel color, light and composition all come together to make this image feel painterly and mysterious at the same time. The sunburst also adds to image as well. Superb!

I can't decide if a birch forest or an evergreen is my favorite...this is pushing me towards the birch vote! Wonderful scene!...f/v
