Description
As summer begins to give way to fall, thistle continues to provided bright pops of color in my part of the world, in fields and meadows, along drainage ditches, even on gravelly patches along the shoulder of the road. Here, I've captured a macro view of one of the vibrant flower heads, set against a soft, green-gold bokeh background.
