Portrait of Theo van Gogh
My reference for this portrait was an old photograph of Vincent van Gogh's brother, Theo. Black ink and India ink with dip pen on paper. I chose to do this piece in an abstract (van Gogh inspired) style that created a sense of high drama and chaos, which I imagine was something that Theo van Gogh must have experienced many times.
