This has been the year for mushrooms! As you know, I have a golden retriever and she and I walk everywhere together, but especially in our woods behind our home. In those woods, we have seen so many varieties of mushrooms growing all over, but especially on fallen logs just like this one. I love the many natural items scattered all over the log adding to the appeal of autumn! Now that all the leaves are off the trees, I am really looking forward to the snow! It transforms the landscape and adds a magical feeling to my environment! But for now, I will take in all the beauty that this autumn has to offer!
