Thanks so much for your enthusiastic response to this image, Anne. So glad you like it. The Thinker remains one of my favorite subjects. We have a cast of it standing in front of the Detroit Institute of Art, which in addition to this one in Philadelphia, I have photographed any number of times.

This photo reminds me of a very old TV show, Dobie Gillis. The show opened or closed (can't remember) with Dobie in the pose of the Thinker. It was when TV was fun! Thanks for the memories, Ann.

Many thanks for your kind words, Dale. Many times I had photographed the cast of Rodin's The Thinker, which stands at the front entrance to the Detroit Institute of Art and so was delighted last summer to have the opportunity to see this one, located at the gate to the Rodin Museum in Philadelphia.
