The Squire in Chatham, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, is a local icon. The downtown eatery just celebrated its 50th anniversary by being sold. But nothing really has changed. The Squire is known for its two distinctive sections—the restaurant on the west side and the tavern on the east. The Squire a popular dining establishment for locals and tourists, as well as a lively night spot for college students, as well as local fishermen and those just wanting a good time. The tavern's décor features distinctive license plates from around the country.
Hidden in the back of the restaurant is a lovely trellis flower garden and a sign commemorating the landmark's 30th anniversary in 1998. For those who have grown up with the Squire, this would be a fun image to have as a reminder of all the good times had there.
I am an award-winning exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains. I've even had a couple abstracts made into my personal cell phone covers. Please check out my Facebook page Doodleng Art by Sharon Eng for announcements and more information about my art. This image would be a good selection for business or corporate wall art and decor or in any home.
