"Path Towards Winter"
I have driven past this spot about 1.5 miles west of Brinsmade, ND, a hundred times and never noticed its simple, symmetric beauty until I passed by on this early morning just after the first snow of season. The thing that caught my eye was the nearly-equilateral triangle shape formed by the opening. I have another image of same scene, shot in springtime with infrared camera - search for "the path" to see them both!
