The Paramount Theatre - Asbury Park by Regina Geoghan. A black and white view of the famous movie theatre and music venue at Asbury Park NJ. Owned by Walter Reade, with a contract to distribute Paramount films, the theatre opened in July,1930. The theatre is part of the Asbury Park Convention Center complex. The 1,600-seat theatre which was restored in 2007, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It now serves as a concert venue.
