Sniardwy is the biggest among Polish lakes, located in Mazury region, where one can enjoy hundreds of lakes scattered among beautiful hills and picturesque forests. Sailing on Sniardwy is a must thing for any inland waters sailor in Poland. With almost 118 square kilometers of water surface and direct access to a couple of other big Polish lakes it gives a lot of fun and space for anybody who loves water sports. The waters of Sniardwy become a little tricky in strong windy conditions however during a sunny afternoons like the one I was given a ride there sailing is just a leisure time.
