This little gem is part of my Little Silhouettes Series:
I love the idea of working with light, darkness, and fading shadows. Silhouettes � dark shapes and outlines visible against a lighter background, especially in dim light (source: Wikipedia) � are a perfect way for me to satisfy this need and add some drama to a petite and thoughtful canvas. The subjects I have chosen are all what I would consider depictions of �down time�. I like to think of them as small, but mighty, packing in a lot of sentiment.
