Description
Watercolour painting of a country kitchen on a summer morning with sunlight pouring in. A straying Maran hen pecks its way in the back door of the traditional Irish country kitchen hoping for crumbs.
By the door is a hand crafted traditional Sugan chair, the seat was traditionally woven from hemp or twine. Sugan chairs are crafted without nails and their strength relies solely on the joints that hold them together.
Maran hens have quiet, passive disposition - very likely to wander in to the kitchen and they lay lovely tasty brown eggs !
Iknow ...I've had many of their delicous eggs for breakfast !
