An Italian cypress grows straight up reaching for the heavens and sways with the slightest breeze to delight the senses, yet it holds strong. As I relax on my balcony at the beautiful Hotel Los Gatos and marvel at the view, God’s creation, I relish His understanding, humor and parable.

Hi, thank you for your comment and for noticing this artwork. Yes, there is alot beyond this scene, a beautiful place and town "Los Gatos, Ca." What is significant about this is what is right before my eyes in this moment being there. The sheer gratitude of being there and present enough to notice this amazing cypress and its nature to grow straight up. A mix of emotions and giddiness. The beauty of life along with the little God winks that connect with us personally, make us realize that there is something so much bigger than ourselves if we only have eyes to see.
