The shapes of ceramic chips are surely different depending on where they will be in the picture, so they are only cut by hand. A small ceramic chip is used as the painter's drawing dot, in which the nippers is used instead of the pen brush!
But, it is not only a mosaic work, but also a fine art work as an oil painting. You see!
