Description
This spicebush swallowtail butterfly was photographed in Point Pelee National Park in Ontario, Canada, in the late summer. It's a woodland butterfly of the eastern U.S. and southwestern Ontario. Papilio troilus is a large black swallowtail with white and orange spots and a blue irridescent wash on the female and greenish blue coloring on the male.
