Soul, Body And Pleasure Vii
Photograph - Film Photography
We like to believe we are rational beings when in fact we are essentially emotional beings. Our body emotes to what our senses perceive independent of our consciousness.
This photo is part of a work that relates to home, identity and family relations.
Human relation and feelings. How our physical body deals with our unlimited emotions, how our soul expression is reflected on the material good. Who are we? What lies behind our mask?
Bottles are bodies, candles and flowers are souls, fruits and other foods are wealth. The mask is the person, or we think so.
The photo was taken with a 100% manual film camera. The film was handcrafted before being digitized. For this reason they are not meant to be perfect like digital images. You will likely find scratches, fingerprints and dust spots in the photo just as you would find in my optic prints. I call it the rustic look. It all belongs to analog charme and art.
