This mixed media piece was created with liquid acrylic inks, resist techniques and resin for a wet like appearance in some areas. Its bold design and bright colors will pop and make a statement on any wall. The original painting is part of a collection that hangs proudly in the tasting room of Duchman Family Winery in Driftwood, Texas. The intent behind the series was to illustrate the various flavors savored while tasting wines. When at a wine tasting, our senses are awakened. The taster reads and interprets a written description of the wine, hears the cork pop and the beverage pour, inhales the aroma and tastes the sweet, tart, mild, bold, etc. flavors on the palette. This tasting room now hosts a feast for the eyes, too.
