A Willet walking the shoreline of Florida's Atlantic Ocean in search of a snack. Most of the Sandpipers that winter in Florida leave the State for breeding but the Willet is the exception. It feeds on mostly invertebrates and insects but rarely fish. Williets nest along the entire Florida Coastline.
