This particular shrimp is called a Charlie and it takes about 9 of these beauties will make 1 lbs. Charlie received it's Nickname because of its size. They are caught in the Gulf of Mexico off of the Louisiana coast. The large steal trawl boat will harvest these and sell there catch at the seafood market or a number of people will place orders and meet the boat at the dock. From here off to our dinner table for a delicious meal. This size of shrimp because of it's size is delicious grilled. There are various locations of trawlers, this just so happen to be where I live.
