"I think we've arrived" these sheep inspired this painting when they appeared over the brow of the hill in what I thought was an empty, tree-lined field above Exeter that overlooks the Exe Valley in Devon. For this painting, I started with watercolor marker pen, then added some washes with inktense pencils and completed the picture using interactive acrylic. This farm animal and landscape painting includes an unusual, purple-tinged color scheme and a strange sense of light but still captures the beauty of the scene.
