Description
Sometimes life is hard. Like when I came back to Calgary from holidays in Kelowna and it was still raining and cold. Chin up! Things will get better!
Artist's Commentary:
Rain in literature has been used to symbolize many things from hopelessness and despair in "The Great Gatspy" to hope and life in "The Grapes of Wrath". We "Blame it on the Rain" and sometimes are caught "Singing in the Rain."
I have always loved the rain and seen it as a symbol of hope, healing and renewal. Though since moving to the Greater Vancouver Area, I also associate sadness with the rain as the grey can really wear on me. This piece represents both feelings to me.
Artist's Finishing Recommendations:
FAA's fashionable and luminescent Acrylic Print would be my pick to compliment and enhance the vibrant colours of this piece. There are numerous attractive custom framing/matting options available to suit any decor. I encourage you to experiment by clicking on the finishing icons located above this text to choose your favorite finishing.

Thanks so much. I was lucky with the background so it didn't take much manipulation to separate this daisy from the pack. Just some gentle white at the edges to draw it in and a narrow DoF. :)
