Description
Fine art wildlife photo of a wild Javelina, or Collared Peccary (Tayassuidae). This nature photograph was captured in the javelina's natural habitat along the riparian corridor of Sonoita Creek in southern Arizona near Patagonia. I was watching members of his herd feasting on watercress growing along the creek when I encountered this fine fellow along a riverine trail. I backed away and allowed him to join his mates.
