This is a stunning image of the seagull. How did you get it to look so smooth? Beautiful and best seagull photo I have ever seen. f/l

Thanks Janette...got lucky mostly. The sun was low in the sky and the bird was high over the water...shot it at 250 mm zoom with a crop sensor DSLR. The lighting came out just perfect. We shot it in Raw and did a little post processing...not much. Just cropped it in, added a bit of sharpening (just a bit since we didn't need this type of image to be super sharp).
