Description
A schooner sits at anchor in Taylor's Creek at Beaufort, North Carolina and sunset. With a long history of sailing, this little town by the sea is the state's second oldest community. It is entirely possible that at one time the pirate Black Beard's schnooer,the "Adventure," rested at anchor in this same channel. His flagship, "The Queen Anne's Revenge" lies on the bottom of the nearby inlet.
