This is a view of the Santorini, island in Greece. Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, forever shaping its rugged landscape. Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. The beauty of the island, the crystal clear blue water of the sea, cubiform houses cling to the cliff above an underwater crater, all of these make the memories and impressions unforgettable.

Original oil painting on canvas panel. Handmade Artwork, One of a Kind. Impressionist style. The painting is signed by the artist lower left on the front and back of the panel. 2018. Pristine condition. The best materials were used for the durability of the painting. To protect the picture from harsh sunlight and dust, it was covered with high-quality semi-gloss varnish with UV protection.

About the artist: Helen Sviderskis is a member of the American Impressionists Society (AIS). She participated in many art exhibitions in Russia and USA. Her meritorious skill, talent and her ability to bring to life each work made her paintings very desirable and are in private and official collections around the world. She received her education at the Center for the Conservation of Fine Arts named after Academician Grabar, as well as in private workshops of famous art professors in Moscow. She continued her art education by participating in seminars of the National Portrait Society and attending lectures in a Master Class in the League of Art Students in New York. Helen was born in Moscow (Russia) who is now an American citizen and makes her home in Miami, Florida.
